After 6 ways to play Touchcards, we ran out of printing space in the booklet. Here are our favorite ways to play for pairs that did NOT make it into the print version. If you discover more awesome ways to play Touchcards, write us at hello@playtouch.cards or on Instagram @playtouch.cards
1. Four Reinterpretations | 2 players | 5+ minutes
Pick one card that both of you like. How might you reinterpret this prompt in four different ways? Each of you tries their interpretation of the card on the other. Then do another round, looking for new ways to play the same card.
2. Name that Prompt | 2+ players | 10+ minutes
Instead of choosing a prompt from the deck, you improvise a touch you want to give in that moment. The receiver gives that touch a name, as if they were writing their own Touchcard. This is also a fun group game, with players taking turns to receive a touch, and the whole group creating the caption for that prompt.
3. Touch through Music | 2 players | 10+ minutes
Put aside your Touchcards and hit play on our Touch me like… playlist. Use the melody & rhythm to inspire your touch, creating a touch-journey that is one song long. Switch after one song, taking turns while the playlist shuffles.
